 Online WebLinks Online Internet Subscription School Price: R1800.00 for an annual subscription updated monthly. Single User Price: R350.00 for 500 logins per year. 
The annual subscription service has thousands of teacher-reviewed and -annotated web sites. Each month 80 to 100 new sites are uploaded. The service is available with a free campus-wide site licence. Place a link on your school network and learners and staff can access the database on-line via a java-enabled browser version 4 or higher. It is possible for schools to have exclusive use via an IP Address or range of IP Addresses. Visitors are welcome to evaluate the service free of charge by clicking 'WebLinks login' in the menu above. Learners can easily search the database by key word, Learning Area, subject heading, article identification number or 'What's new'. Subscribers have access to a free search service and schools are encouraged to submit research topics that are relevant to their needs to Pledger Consulting. The database is updated frequently. WebLinks Online also has a facility that allows schools to customise the database by entering their own links and annotations into a section of the database. |

Library Catalogue LinksPlus MARC Database ISSN 1328-8148 Price: R1800.00 for an annual subscription up-dated monthly. Comprehensive monthly directory of Internet sites commonly requested by learners when researching in the library. Between 80 and 100 up-to-date and relevant World Wide Web sites are selected each month to meet the research needs of learners. Each site is annotated and placed under a school subject heading. Sites are carefully chosen for their educational content and usefulness by a teacher librarian and experienced educators. The MARC format can be loaded into a school library catalogue that accepts USMARC records. Each month the file is updated and can be imported to override the previous month and maintain an up-to-date listing of working sites. |
